The SSA Secretariat is supported by a staff of 9 which<br />
is headed by the Executive Director, Mr. Daniel Tan. Besides<br />
the SSA, the staff also provides a range of secretarial<br />
support to the <strong>Singapore</strong> Maritime Employers Federation<br />
(SMEF), the Federation of ASEAN Shipowners’ <strong>Association</strong>s<br />
(FASA) and the Safe Navigation & Environment Committee<br />
of the Asian Shipowners Forum (ASF).<br />
• Corporate Communications<br />
The Secretariat maintains the SSA website at<br />
http://www.ssa.org.sg. The site provides information<br />
on the <strong>Association</strong>’s latest activities with regular<br />
updates on seminars, talks, courses, cocktail<br />
gatherings and latest shipping developments.<br />
Copies of SSA circulars and press releases are also<br />
posted immediately on the website.<br />
The <strong>Association</strong> further publishes its bi-monthly<br />
newsletter, “Waves” which was distributed widely in an<br />
electronic form as well as hard copies to all SSA members<br />
and the maritime community at large.<br />
