8200 motec basic invertersOverviewThe concept of the 8200 motec frequency inverter is basedon a modular system of complementary components fordistributed drive systems. The inverter can be combinedwith a Lenze geared motor to create an electronic variablespeed drive with a wide range of functions. These ruggeddrives can be used for speed control in numerous industriesand applications, e.g. materials handling technology, HVACtechnology, automation, etc.In addition to the features listed in the product informationfor distributed drive solutions, the 8200 motec frequencyinverter also boasts:Vector control– 1.8x torque– High speed setting range– Excellent smooth running characteristics– Torque setting range up to 1:10M/M r2.01.8It couldn't be easier to retrofit or extend systemsThe mains supply is the only control voltage needed to runthe 8200 motec. This means that even systems which werepreviously unregulated can be retrofitted relatively quicklyand inexpensively for the purpose of process optimisation.AdaptabilityThe selectable form of the U/f characteristic enables the frequencyinverter to be adapted to loads with constant orsquare-law torque.Power-optimisedThe frequency inverters can be power-optimised by meansof operation at increased rated power – Advantage:– Use of a more powerful motor in continuousoperationApplications: e.g. pumps, HVAC units, etc.Braking operationYou can use a brake rectifier (see chapter Accessories) tosupply power to and control an electronic spring-operatedbrake directly from the 8200 motec.n [rpm]VersatileMany different types of three-phase AC motor can be controlled:– Three-phase asynchronous motors– Three-phase reluctance motors– Medium-frequency motors99-6 G-motion motec en 11/2004
