Components for processingthe air are located in the circulatingair duct installed in the rear wall ofthe test chamber. The symmetricalair circulation system guaranteesoptimum circulation.The circulating air is returned aboveand below the test space and flowsthrough a heat exchanger in whichit may be cooled if necessary. Anelectric heater warms the circula -ting air. An axial fan with externalmotor, mounted centrally in therear test chamber wall, blows conditionedair back into the testspace, providing intensive air circulation.Every electrical functional circuit isequipped with its own safety facilitywhich shuts down the functionalcircuit affected or the entire testchamber in case of a malfunction.The electrical system complies withthe approved state of the art in thefield, the safety regulation ”Elec -trical Systems and Facilities“ (BGVA3) as well as with the relevant VDEregulations.
