North East - Arunachal PradeshNorth-East Expo Itanagar<strong>CII</strong>, with the support of the Ministry ofDevelopment of North Eastern Region(DONER) and the Government ofArunachal Pradesh organized the North-East Expo Itanagar from 29 Septemberto 1 <strong>October</strong> at Itanagar, ArunachalPradesh. The exposition focused on theemerging opportunities in the areas ofTourism, Handlooms and Handicrafts,Organic Farming and Horticulture. Inan attempt to identify potential businessexchanges in the region, the initiativecreated a unique forum to project thecapabilities of Arunachal Pradesh.Mr Setong Sena, Minister for Finance, Trade &Commerce, Arunachal Pradesh, while inaugurating theExpo, said “in order to improve the economic well beingof the people of Arunachal Pradesh, it is necessary toharness the agricultural, forestry, floriculture and humanresource potential available in the state.” He highlightedthe importance of developing the micro small sectorfirst, to build confidence among the people, beforeundertaking bigger projects.Alongside, a conference on ‘Sustainable Developmentof Arunachal Pradesh’ updated budding, youngentrepreneurs aware about the schemes and opportunitiesavailable for setting up enterprises of various types.Institutions like NEDFi, NSIC, NABARD, and NERAMACwere among the participants at the Expo.Setong Sena, Minister for Finance, Trade & Commerce, Arunachal Pradesh, inauguratingthe North East Expo in ItanagarSetong SenaM Pertin, Commissioner,Industries, Trade & Commerce,Arunachal PradeshAssamCSR Conclave<strong>CII</strong> organized a conclave on Corporate Social Sustainable Inclusiveness, on 23 September inGuwahati.
