Arts and crafts in <strong>Pelican</strong> <strong>Bay</strong>By Ursula Seinige and the Art Forum TeamThe <strong>2009</strong>/2010 Season startswith two exciting events.On <strong>November</strong> 9, <strong>2009</strong> wewill open the fist in our seriesof monthly art exhibitionsat the Community Center.Our focus is on photographyfrom your travels to the Mid-East and Asia highlightingthe beauty of the places andcontrasting it with the difficulteconomic and politicalconditions in these regions.Participating artists includeTed Raia, Gail Rothenberg,Alan Wilder and the Woehrs.The show will open on<strong>November</strong> 9, at 4pm, witha wine and cheese reception(cash bar) and a paneldiscussion by participatingartists about their work andtheir travels.Another exciting first iscoming on December 5 and6, <strong>2009</strong>: the First <strong>Pelican</strong> <strong>Bay</strong>Craft Show.<strong>Pelican</strong> <strong>Bay</strong> residents,renters and a few guestswill let us see what they do:there will be jewelry, glass,shell art, textiles, ceramicsand wood working.
