Chamber People NewsPricewaterhouseCoopersPavel Kulhavý (36) has been appointedDirector in the PricewaterhouseCoopers’Assurance and Advisory Services department.He will focus on advising companies thatare converting their financial statementsto International Financial Reporting Standards(IFRS).In 1998, Kulhavý spent six months inthe firm’s London office providing specialistadvice to multinational clients on IFRSaccounting issues.Kulhavý, who has been with PricewaterhouseCooperssince 1991, graduated fromthe Management Faculty of the EconomicsPetr KulhavýPricewaterhouseCoopersUniversity in Prague. He is a fellow member(FCCA) of the international Association ofChartered Certified Accountants and a registeredstatutory auditor of the CzechChamber of Auditors. Kulhavý, who enjoyssport and travelling, speaks English fluently.Jiří Klumpar (48) has been appointed tothe position of Director in the Advisorydepartment of PricewaterhouseCoopers.He is responsible for banking and capitalmarkets in the Czech Republic and Slovakiaand his first task is to build and managea specialised team of financial services expertsacross the entire Central Europeanregion.Between 1998 and 2004, Klumpar workedfor GE Capital Bank. He is a graduate ofthe Economic University, Prague.DHLTereza Urbánková has joined DHL ISServices Centre as a Communications andPR Senior Specialist. In her role she willbe responsible for all external and internalcommunications channels.Previously Urbánková worked as aDirector of Marketing for the Palác Florashopping mall.
