Rather, fear Me and I will give you victoryover them, I will eradicate them, and make youprevail over them, I will please your hearts andraise you above them in this life and theHereafter.'Islam Has Been Perfected For MuslimsAllah said,الْيَوْمَ‏ أَآْمَلْتُ‏ لَكُمْ‏ دِینَكُمْ‏ وَأَتْمَمْتُ‏ عَلَيْكُمْ‏ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ‏ لَكُمُ‏ الإِسْلاَمَ‏دِینًاThis day, I have perfected your religion for you,completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for youIslam as your religion.This, indeed, is the biggest favor from Allah tothis Ummah, for He has completed their religionfor them, and they, thus, do not need any otherreligion or any other Prophet except Muhammad.This is why Allah made Muhammad the FinalProphet and sent him to all humans and Jinn.Therefore, the permissible is what he allows, theimpermissible is what he prohibits, the Law iswhat he legislates and everything that he conveysis true and authentic and does not contain lies orcontradictions.Allah said; وَتَم َّتْ‏ آَلِمَتُ‏ رَب ِّكَ‏ صِدْقًا وَعَدْلاً‏ (And the Wordof your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and injustice), (6:115) meaning, it is true in what itconveys and just in what it commands andforbids. When Allah completed the religion forMuslims, His favor became complete for them aswell.Allah said,الْيَوْمَ‏ أَآْمَلْتُ‏ لَكُمْ‏ دِینَكُمْ‏ وَأَتْمَمْتُ‏ عَلَيْكُمْ‏ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ‏ لَكُمُ‏ الإِسْلاَمَ‏دِینًا30............
This day, I have perfected your religion for you,completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for youIslam as your religion.meaning, accept Islam for yourselves, for it is thereligion that Allah likes and which He chose foryou, and it is that with which He sent the best ofthe honorable Messengers and the most gloriousof His Books.Ibn Jarir recorded that Harun bin Antarah said that hisfather said,"When the Ayah, الْيَوْمَ‏ أَآْمَلْتُ‏ لَكُمْ‏ دِينَكُمْ‏ (This day, Ihave perfected your religion for you...) wasrevealed, during the great day of Hajj (the Day ofArafah, the ninth day of Dhul-Hijjah) Umarcried.The Prophet said, `What makes you cry?'He said, `What made me cry is that our religion isbeing perfected for us. Now it is perfect, nothingis perfect, but it is bound to deteriorate.'The Prophet said, صَدَقْت (You have said thetruth).''What supports the meaning of this Hadith is theauthentic Hadith,إِن َّ الْإِسْلَامَ‏ بَدَأَ‏ غَرِیبًا،‏ وَسَيَعُودُ‏ غَرِیبًا،‏ فَطُوبَى لِلْغُرَبَاءIslam was strange in its beginning and will returnstrange once more. Therefore, Tuba for thestrangers.Imam Ahmad recorded that Tariq bin Shihab said,"A Jewish man said to Umar bin Al-Khattab, ÒLeader of the Believers! There is a verse in yourBook, which is read by all of you (Muslims), andhad it been revealed to us, we would have takenthat day (on which it was revealed) as a day ofcelebration.'31
