Last October the Walk of Fameceremony was rained out we have scheduled Tuesday, June 17, at 5:30 p.m.for the Board to meet a Steineger Field with the Walk of Fame recipients for thesigning ceremony.Superintendent’sReportMichelle Sedler wanted to thank Randy Beery and Theresa Tillery for volunteeringfor the Strategic Planning Committee. Last, the Close of the Year meeting isscheduled for Friday, June 27 th at 12:00 p.m., lunch will be served.Joy Beery – the graduation ceremony was very good. The valedictorian andsalutatory speeches were awesome. Mrs. Beery went on to say that she wastotally wrapped up in what they were saying; the students were very outgoing andexcited also, very encouraging. Mr. Pretz needs to give lessons to everyone on howto pronounce the students names. The awards assembly went very well; glad to seethe teachers and employees were very gracious when they received their awards.RoundTableRandy Beery – stated that all activities he attended went well and the staff did agreat job.Linda Ingram – wanted to thank whomever was responsible for the Morris yearbooks.Connie stated that Becky Billigmeier sent the books over for Mr. Allen and theBoard members. Last, Midland Trail 6 th Grade banquet was great! Gina Peters didan awesome job with the preparations.Dennis Peters, Jr. – he enjoyed the graduation ceremony very much. Mr. Peterswent on to say that Gina wanted him to thank everyone that was able to attend the 6 thgrade banquet. Last, he read a letter that Brandon Simmons received from theChicago White Sox; inviting him to attend a training camp.Brad Stuart – graduation was nice. Mr. Stuart was glad to see that Michelle made itthrough without any broken bones considering all the hugs she received from thegraduates.
