Adelbert Nelissen is the director of the Kushi Institute of Europe.He is a well known and much appreciated macrobioticteacher and counsellor and has taught for over 30 years inEurope, Asia, Africa and America. He is one of the pioneersin the natural food movement. He Adelbert introduced inthe Netherlands (under the trade mark Manna) hundredsof products such as pumpkin, daikon, tofu, tempeh, seitan,sourdough bread, various bread spreads and many Japanesespecialties. On an educational level he introduced Shiatsu,Feng Shui, Palm Healing (Reiki) and developed variouseducational programs in this field.The unique program ‘Women’s Health’ was created togetherwith his wife Wieke and has been presented in many differentcountries, with much success. They both supervise theall-round macrobiotic leadership program ‘the Art of LifeSchool.’For the last 30 years Adelbert has studied the universal andspiritual dimensions of human beings, with spiritual worldteacher Michio Kushi, Yomyo Tanaka (Buddhist master inShingun Black Hat Buddhism), as well as many other illustriousteachers of Taoism, Shinto, Buddhism and the Celtic,Gnostic and Greek Philosophy and Healing Art.
