A graphic LCD displaysmonitored data as trends, bar graphs andengineering units.Three adjustable alarm levels are provided perchannel. Relay outputs allow control of beaconshorns and other alarm events. A horn relay maybe set for steady or pulsing operation.Analog 0/4-20ma inputs may be accepted viaanalog input cards. Alternatively, the standardModbus Master port allows input data to beretrieved from Modbus slave devices including themany Modbus compatible Scott/Bacharach sensortransmitters. Direct inputs from catalytic bead canbe accepted via an optional catalytic bead inputboard.The SENTINEL 16 is easy to configure and userfriendly. Measurement ranges in engineeringunits, adjustable alarm set-points, dual serialinterfaces and many other features combine toallow the SENTINEL 16 satisfy the needs of manydemanding applications. It is widely used forcentralizing the display and alarm processingfunctions in critical multipoint monitoringapplications.A RS-485 Modbus slave port allows up to 128SENTINEL 16’s to be multidropped onto a singledata highway for interrogation by another Modbusmaster.
