Advanced OperationAutomatic Busy RedialAutomatic Busy RedialAfter reaching a busy outside number, you can activate Automatic Busy Redial so thatthe system automatically redials the number at regular intervals. The system repeatsthe redial until the line is no longer busy. This feature may not be on some phones onyour system. Automatic Busy Redial is not attempted while your station is busy, butcontinues to time-out. The system inserts a pause (P) on your LCD before redialingthe number.➤ To activate Automatic Busy Redial1. When you reach a busy number, press &QI7UQ + . The Line LED is steadyred. You hear busy tone.2. Hang up or press 6SNU. The system redials, up to 5 to 20 times, every 30 to 180seconds (depending on system programming). Your telephone receives ring tonewhen Automatic Busy Redial dials the number and it is available. The Line andSpkr LEDs flash green.3. Lift the handset or press 6SNU and wait for the party to answer.
