Advanced OperationPrivacyPrivacyRedialPrivacy controls the ability of more than one person to use the same extension or COline at the same time. Privacy applies to multiple appearances of extensions, Phantomextensions, outside Lines and outside Line Group buttons.The application of Privacyto individual telephones is controlled in system programming.By default, the system is private. If you are in a conversation, another telephone withan appearance of the line on which you are talking cannot intrude unless thattelephone has been programmed for Privacy Override. In that event, the othertelephone may enter and leave the conversation at will. If all users are provided withPrivacy Release in Class of Service, the system will function as non-private.Use this button to redial the last number dialed from your phone.➤ To redial the last number, dial )OH[ or .Speed DialSpeed Dial enables you to dial a sequence of up to 32 digits with a shorter code. Dialsequences can include telephone numbers, authorization codes, passwords featureactivation codes and pauses. Speed Dial may be used to originate a call or invokedafter a call is established.There are two types of Speed Dial.• Station – Your CTX System Administrator allocates a block of up to 100 personalspeed dial numbers in increments of 10 per phone. You can create and change thesenumbers from your own phone. You have exclusive use of them. If you have aDKT3014 large display telephone and want your named station speed dial numbersto appear on the display, you will have to have your CTX System Administratorestablish them.• System – All telephones in your system can share a list of up to 800 System SpeedDial numbers under the exclusive control of the CTX System Administrator.
