NGĀTI HAUĀ DEED OF SETTLEMENTATTACHMENTS3: RELATIONSHIP AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CROWN AND NGĀTI HAUĀ WITH RESPECT TOTE KAUWHANGANUI O MĀHUTA AND NGĀTI HAUĀ TAONGAthe role and functions of each of the parties is provided inAnnexure A.“Deaccessioned”“National Library”“Taonga”the permanent removal of an item from the collections ofTe Papa Tongarewa.includes the Alexander Turnbull Library.Taonga includes but is not limited to artifacts, heirlooms,human remains, manuscripts, archives, records, informationdata (including multi-media formats such as sound, still andmoving images).Te Kauwhanganui means the Te Kauwhanganui Building and theTe Kauwhanganui Collection.Te Kauwhanganui TrustTe Kauwhanganui BuildingTe Kauwhanganui Collectionmeans the Te Kauwhanganui Building and MonumentCharitable Trust to be established by trust deed in July 2013.A summary of the role and function of the Trust is provided inAnnexure A.means the Te Kauwhanganui building located at Rukumoanamarae Morrinsville-Walton Road, Morrinsville, the legaldescription for which is Te Au o Waikato 7E1, and for thepurposes of this relationship agreement also includes theTe Kauwhanganui monument located at the marae.is defined by the Te Kauwhanganui Trust as a list of taongawhich will be held by the Trustees and disclosed at their solediscretion. For the avoidance of doubt, taonga orTe Kauwhanganui Collection does not include any of Te Auo Waikato 7E1 land or urupa or any fixtures on the land.Te Kauwhanganui Work Plans means Work Plan 1 and 2 as described in clauses 12 and16.Page 51
