High school<strong>Concordia</strong> will be starting the high school program with grade 9 (and possibly 10) in the2013/2014 school year. We will offer a rigorous AP program in the high school.Advanced Placement (AP)A study by the U.S. Department of Education concluded that a high school program of highacademic challenge and quality is one of the most reliable predictors of college success.<strong>Concordia</strong> agrees: Offering the Advanced Placement Program is an important part of what willmake our High <strong>School</strong> program strong.Through college-level AP courses, students enter a universe of knowledge usually unexploredin high school. Through AP exams, students have the opportunity to earn credit or advancedstanding at most U.S. colleges and universities.Some students will earn the Advanced Placement <strong>International</strong> Diploma (APID), a globallyrecognized certificate for students with an international outlook.
