Classic GTO Association of Denver – Got Yer Goat! July November 2012 2012 Page 7Page 9 Our Final Stop: The Ship Rock Grille at the Red Rocks Park Amphitheater Visitor Center. Some of our group ate lunch at this restaurant. Built around two massive boulders both inside and on the patio, the Ship Rock Grille featured a delectable menu and stunning scenery. Unfortunately, due to the poor weather that day our group was unable to enjoy a sunny meal on the deck surrounded by breathtaking vistas and possibly even some wildlife. After eating, we browsed around the Visitor Center displays, which documented all the events that had occurred and the performers who had appeared at the amphitheater from its beginning to the present day. Ian Lawrence walked down to the stage, then ran from the bottom to the top of the amphitheater.
