The second replica bear is a scaled down version of a very<br />
large Teddy bear given as a gift to employees of the <strong>Margarete</strong><br />
<strong>Steiff</strong> Company for the 25th Anniversary Jubilee in 1926.<br />
He is 35 cm, reddish blond and features dark brown pupil<br />
eyes. Each of the bears is tenderly stuffed with wood<br />
shavings. The 1926 replica comes with a growler.<br />
Among the limited edition Teddy bears two are based on a<br />
charming and nostalgic bear pattern design from the turn of<br />
last century. These bears are 28 cm, five ways jointed, and<br />
made from lush, thick mohair. Their faces feature black<br />
button eyes and lovely brown vertically hand embroidered<br />
noses and mouths. Teddy bear 1906 is being produced both<br />
in smokey white and café-au-lait colour. Both of these bears<br />

are available in a worldwide edition size of 1,500 pieces<br />
per colour (see picture page 10).<br />
Also new to the line are three new yellow tag cubs certain to<br />
capture your heart and your imagination. The first is Pelle<br />
Panda Ted, a 33 cm, five ways jointed bear made from a blend<br />
of brown and cream tipped mohair plush. His brown hand<br />
embroidered nose and mouth, and brown and black pupil eyes,<br />
make him irresistible. The second is Teddy bear Luca, a 35 cm<br />
bear made from blond mohair. He is detailed with black button<br />
eyes and a black nose and mouth – and an adorable expression!<br />
The third is a classically inspired 39 cm ivory mohair bear<br />
based on a pattern from the “roaring” 1920s. Like <strong>Steiff</strong>’s<br />
original bears from this time frame, Teddy bear 1925 is<br />
