Riley Community & Senior CenterThe Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in collaboration with the<strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Downey</strong> <strong>Parks</strong> & <strong>Recreation</strong> Department is <strong>of</strong>fering theCommodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) program atthe Barbara J. Riley Community & Senior Center. This programprovides free food kits to once a month to low-income seniors.Kits contain, meats, canned fruit, vegetables, dry milk cerealsand other grain product and much more!Requirements for seniors are picture identification with date<strong>of</strong> birth and pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> income (bank statement, check stub orbenefit award letter). Income cannot exceed the followingamount in order to qualify 1 person - $1,245 per month or 2person - $1,681 per month. Income verification is requiredannually. *Once you apply in person, you can authorizesomeone to pick up your food! (Please make sure to bringthat person with you at the time <strong>of</strong> your first visit).This service is absolutely FREE to all participants.
