ConditionsGeographical LimitsAge CoverWinter sports cover is only available to persons aged 65years and under (at date of issue).Age Restrictions for Annual Multi Trip <strong>Insurance</strong>For travellers up to the age of 70 years, themaximum trip duration of any one trip is 45 days.For those aged 70 years and over, the maximum tripduration of any one trip is 31 days.Children <strong>Travel</strong>ling IndependentlyChildren under 18 years who travel on their own mustbe dropped off and picked up at the departure point bya responsible adult aged over 21.Conditions1) Cover is only available for the whole duration of thebooked trip. Cover cannot be effected once a journeyhas commenced.2) If your money, valuables or any items of personalbaggage, are lost or stolen, you must notify the localpolice within 48 hours of discovery. Please makesure you get a copy of the police report. Failure tocomply will result in your claim being turned down.3) No payment will be made under Sections 1, 2, 5, 6, 9,11 and 15 without appropriate medical certification.4) If we require any medical certificates, information,evidence and receipts, these must be obtained by you atyour expense.5) In the event of a claim, if we require a medicalexamination you must agree to this and in the event ofdeath we are entitled to a post-mortem examinationboth at our expense.6) You must take all reasonable steps to recover any lostor stolen article.7) If any claim is found to be fraudulent in any way thispolicy will not apply and all claims will be forfeited.8) You must not make any payment, admit liability,offer or promise to make any payment without writtenconsent from us.9) We are entitled to take over any rights in the defenceor settlement of any claim and to take proceedings inyour name for our benefit against any other party.10) We may at any time pay to you our full liabilityunder the policy after which no further payments willbe made in any respect.11) The terms of this insurance is based upon theinformation provided by you to us. The policy containsconditions relating to health of the people travelling.You must take reasonable care to answer all questionsput to you, about the health of the people travelling,honestly, accurately and to the best of your knowledge.If you do not understand the meaning of a questionput to you or if you do not know the answer it is vitalthat you tell us. Once cover has been arranged youmust immediately notify us of any changes to theinformation that has previously been provided. Failureto provide full and accurate information before youtake out the insurance or when circumstances changecould invalidate the cover and may mean any claim willbe rejected. If you are declaring on behalf of anotherperson you must ensure you are fully aware of theirmedical history.12) If at the time of making a claim there is any otherpolicy covering the same risk we are entitled to contactthat insurer for a contribution.13) A person or company who is not a party to this policyhas no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties)Act 1999 to enforce any term of this policy but this doesnot affect any right or remedy of a third party whichexists or is available apart from that Act.14) You are required to take all reasonable care toprotect yourself and your property and to act as thoughyou are not insured.Geographical Limits – Single TripRegion 1 – Covers trips to, from, and within theUnited Kingdom.Region 2 – Covers trips by United Kingdom residents toand from Europe, west of the Ural Mountains includingthe Republic of Ireland and all countries, borderingthe Mediterranean Sea, as well as Madeira and TheAzores and trips to the Channel Islands by other UnitedKingdom residents. This region excludes countriesmentioned in Region 3.Region 3 – Covers Regions 1, 2 and Spain (including theBalearic Islands), The Canaries, Turkey, Cyprus and Malta.Region 4 – Covers anywhere in the world except USA,Canada, Caribbean, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico andChina.Region 5 – Covers anywhere in the world including USA,Canada and Caribbean.Region 6 – Covers anywhere in the world except USA,Canada and Caribbean.Region 7 – Covers Australia and New Zealand only.Annual Multi-TripRegion 8 – Covers trips by United Kingdom residents toand from Europe, west of the Ural Mountains includingthe Republic of Ireland and all countries bordering theMediterranean Sea, as well as Madeira and The Azores andtrips to the Channel islands by other United Kingdomresidents.
