Mechanical Engineers/
Technologists
We require Project Engineers/Technologists to manage capital,
maintenance and equipment reliability projects. Specifi c duties
include project evaluations, feasibility studies, design engineering,
material specifi cation, estimating, layout, liaison with mill trades,
coordination with consultants and contractors, cost control and
resolving equipment reliability issues.
The ideal candidates will possess a technical diploma or a Mechanical
Engineering Degree as well as have experience with AutoCAD. Strong
interpersonal and self-management skills are required, plus the ability
to work either independently or as a team member. Experience with
Microsoft Project or Maximo would be an asset. These positions have
advancement potential in Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering.
Membership or eligibility for membership in APEGBC is required.
The successful candidates should have experience in Steam &
Recovery, Materials Engineering, pressure vessel & piping codes or
heavy industry.
