BAYES COACHLINES
Here we present a fleet history of Bayes Coachlines Ltd (formerly Bayes Brothers Dairy Flat Ltd) of Dairy Flat, to
the north of Auckland, undoubtedly one of the most interesting of the country’s operators. Although operations
are confined to tours, charter and school work the fleet does contain a number of second-hand artics from
Singapore, Australia and Japan, and the first new one in the country for many years, as well as some imports
from Singapore. In the past two of the three ex-LCBS AEC Reliance chassis imported from the UK and bodied
locally were operated, as was one of the few AEC Rangers in the country. This was the story at 2/09.
