MOUNTING THE TRIANGLE BLADENever use nylon heads and/or triangleblade other than those provided by themanufacturer. Always use tools in perfectcondition, free of deformation, dents, broken ordeformed specially made for heavily stressedtwo the cutting tools. In high/speed rotation, parts could beprojected at very high speed and could involveserious injury and damages to persons andproperties. The manufacturer declines all responsibility incase of faulty use of the machine.Remove the pin, unscrew the nut clockwise(turn right) and remove the big washer. Teethcould cause the breakage of washer. (with thewriting downward when looking from theoperating direction). Place the blade betweenflanges so that the blade will be centeredbetween them. Put back the big washer inorder to maintain the blade. Screw the nut anticlockwise(turn left) using the provided tool.Tightening torque:30 Nm or 3 Mkg.Make sure that the blade is completely andsafety locked. Make sure that all different partsof the cutting tool are securely fastened asabove. If the blade is not correctly positionedit can involve SERIOUS DAMAGEAND INJURY TO PERSONS ANDPROPERTY!MAIN PARTS OF THE BRUSH CUTTER1. Safety guardBEFORE STARTINGBefore any work with the machine, make surethat it has been perfectly positioned on a clean, flat ground and free from any obstacles in thearea. The machine must be on a horizontalposition in a way that the cutting tool does notreach the soil or any other object.Make sure that all nuts and screws aresecurely tightened. Make sure both the safetyguard protection and the cutting tools used arecorrectly assembled.Whenever it is possible, clean the workingarea from all foreign objects such as nails, metals wire, stones or broken glass that mightbe thrown or become tangled up in the cuttingtools. It is prohibited to start the machine inan enclosed area or into buildings. Thebreathing of exhaust gas can involvedangerous intoxication.Whenever cutting toxic grass, payspecial attention as the spraying of choppedgrass and vegetal matters can lead tointoxication. Use appropriate protections forbreathing.STARTING OF THE ENGINEFUEL MIXTURE: 2,5% ONLYUse fresh unleaded gasoline (98 octane) and2-stroke oil21
2-STROKE ENGINE STARTINGMix in a percentage of 2,5% (or 40 parts ofgasoline for 1 part of oil).By using synthetic oil specially made for twostrokeengine, it will reduce the formation ofashes and carbon deposits in the spark plugthe piston, the muffler and in the cylinder aswell as reducing emission of exhaust gas.Lubrication will be at best and it will give alonger life to your engine. It is import to use exclusively good quality andfresh gasoline, use as well only branded oil.You must use the mixture during the threeweeks that follows its operation. You must absolutely do the mixturegasoline / oil before to put it into the fuel tank.In order to obtain a good mixture, put the oilinto the jerry can after the gasoline. You mustdo this operation in an open area away fromany lights, while the engine is turn off and farapart from any flames or sparkles, you mustnot smoke and don’t use the telephone. Shakeup the mixture in the jerry can and the enginefuel tank before any use.You can now proceed with the filling of the fueltank, unscrew the cap of the fuel tank and putthe pure gasoline using a funnel. Be carefulnot to spill any fuel around and/or on yourclothing. If that should happen, wipe thespilling with a clean rag.Start the engine at least three meters awayfrom the area where the fuel tank had beenfilled up in order to avoid any risks of potentialfire.Never fill up the gasoline tank while theengine is hot.To start the engine, proceed as follows:1. Carefully proceed to all the different stepsof preparation and fuel supply.2. Place the switch in the handle to Startposition.3. Turn the choke on.4. Press on the “primer” under thecarburettor 4 or 5 times to allow thegasoline to arrive on the return fuel tanktransparent gasoline pipe.5. With your left hand, grip the brush cutterand press the transmission shaft in orderto keep firmly positioned the machine onthe ground, and with the right hand pullslowly the handle recoil starter until thepawls book onto the flywheel.6. Pull hard 4 or 5 times the handle recoilstarter.7. Never pull the recoil starter to its all lengthin order to avoid damages to the recoilstarter. If the engine do not start, may be the sparkplug is wet. In this event, unscrew the sparkplug, wipe and dry it and pull the recoil starterseveral times, without the spark-plug in place,in order to clean and ventilated the combustionchamber.IMPORTANT:Whenever the engine is hot, all theseoperations are not necessary, pull only therecoil starter until the engine start. The cuttingdevice should not be in rotation at the idlespeed of the engine.* Be sure that the weight of the machine isperfectly balanced between the engine andcutting system. The cutting tool must beparallel to the ground and does not require tobe supported from the grip. Operate a few accelerations. Withoutreaching the max rpm and without workingto make sure that everything is working ingood condition and regularly. Only when the nylon head or the triangleblade is at complete stop, you can go toyour working zone by carrying themachine in a way that the cutting tool isunder your waist level and far from yourbody. Make sure there are not otherpeople, animals or others within a 15meters radius.GRINDINGDuring the first ten hours of work, run theengine at a moderate rpm. We advise you, inany case do not use your engine at high-speedas the different components must adjust onewith the others during grinding. It is at the endof the grinding that the engine will reach itsmaximum power. After the two first hours of work, make a pauseand check that all nuts and screws aresecurely, fastened, tighten if necessary.USE OF THE BRUSH CUTTERThis brush cutter is only made to cut grass, shrubs and bulky and arborescent bushes.Put the brush cutter on the ground and placeyourself in a well-balanced and stable positionon both feet.22
