Project Manager, Brett Mead,organised a resourceful team to undertakethe immense project. The Maci Constructionsteam was lead onsite by Toby Mead whodealt with all of the challenges that arose dueto inclement weather and earthworks. MaciConstructions has offices in both Launcestonand devonport.National Apprentice of theYear AwardLuke Quigley of Mead Con, spreyton, waschosen as Master Builders Australia’s 2010National Apprentice of the Year from a fieldof Australia’s top apprentices.Luke completed his Certificate III inCarpentry & Joinery at the Tasmanian skillsInstitute and has primarily worked oncommercial projects over recent times. Hehas held supervisory responsibility and hastaken on additional activities including anadjunct role as the firm’s IT specialist. He hascompleted a range of additional trainingcourses, has participated in Mead Con’sfrontline management course and intends tostudy estimating and Contract Management.Luke has a first class academic record, and awide range of technical experience.
