Ten years in the planning,the new library will house a growing collection <strong>of</strong> printand electronic materials in the humanities, socialsciences, the arts and special collections. A state <strong>of</strong> theart technological infrastructure will give students andfaculty access to electronic resources and services thatmeet the needs <strong>of</strong> research in the 21 st century.<strong>UC</strong>SC’s University Library collection is divided into two parts.Resources in the humanities, arts, and social sciences arelocated in McHenry Library, and the science collection ishoused in the Science & Engineering Library building on“science hill.”
