A BILLTo APPROPRIATE A SUM NOT EXCEEDING FoUR HUNDREDAND FORTY-SIX THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED ANDTHIRTY-EIGHT POUNDS TO THE SERVICE OF THETWELVE MONTHS ENDING THE THIRTY-FIRST DAY OFDECEMBER, IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD ONE THOU­SAND NINE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-THREE.WHEREAS it is necessary to make provision for such ireamWeexpenses of the Government of Cyprus for the year«nding' the thirty-first day of December, 1923, as arenot already lawfully provided for or shall not hereafterbe provided for by any Law.BE it therefore enacted by His Excellency the HighCommissioner and Commander-in-Chief of the Island ofCyprus, with the advice and consent of the LegislativeCouncil thereof, as follows:—1. This Law may be cited as the Appropriation Law, short title.1923.2. In addition to the sums already lawfully appropriated Appropn*to the service of the King or which may be hereafter law- £446)438.fully appropriated thereto, there shall be issued and appliedto the service of the twelve months ending the thirty-firstday of December, 1923, any sum not exceeding the sumof Four Hundred and Forty-Six Thousand Four Hundredand Thirty-Eight Pounds for defraying the charge of theOovernment of Cyprus for such period.3.
