94MegaLine ® Connect45Connectivity can be so easyThe shortest possible installation times and an uncompromisingapproach to electrical performance are the key featuresof a future-proof cabling system. With this in mind, LEONI has developed a new copper connectionsystem, MegaLine® Connect45. The innovative modular systemunites ultimate performance with maximum ease of assembly. The basic version, consisting of a Category 7/7 A data cable andcable connector is completed by simply attaching the requiredjack module. You can choose from RJ45 jack modules in Category6 A (IEC 60603-7-51) and Category 6A (EIA/TIA 568-C.2).Easy assembly – the wires are pressed together and precisioncutin a single step. The shortest possible assembly times are achieved by combiningthe attachment of the cable plug with the cutting of the wiresto size. Easy assembly is particularly useful in DataCenters whereinstallation work must be carried out with zero downtime.Pre‐assembled trunks help to keep the necessary assemblytimes to a minimum. The release tool is a handy solution for opening modules. In this way, the existing cabling system can be fitted witha new module – e.g. with LEO function – in next to no time"with a click".Minimum assembly times – maximum performance. The distances to be covered with cables in DataCenters are oftenless than 15 metres. The standards refer to these connectionsas "short links" and, because not all products are of the samequality, it is necessary to separate the wheat from the chaff whenassessing them. The MegaLine® Connect45 system can be usedto implement extremely short link lengths from one metreupwards. The requirements of the E A permanent link class areeasily exceeded.Easy assembly – the wires are pressed together and cut to size in a single step.www.leoni-infrastructure-datacom.com
