CHNC ® IIICHNC ® IIISPPage 6Extension Tool Holders & Cut-Type Knurling ToolExtension Tool Holder with Adjustable ShimThe extension tool holder is generally used for turning operations, but can also be used for holding toolsto back-face flanged work, or to cut off, knurl, groove, or thread a workpiece.The extension tool holder mounts directly into a T-slot of a turret top plate and uses 3 ⁄8" or 1 ⁄2" square shanktool bits for the respective top plate. Each holder features an adjustable wedge for adjusting the tool tocenter.
