When the pressure is removed from the port ofthe Rodlok ® , the mechanism will grip on the external guide shaftand prevent the jaws from moving. The loads are held indefinitelywithout power. Rodlok ® performance is application andenvironment sensitive. Cleanliness of shaft or Rodlok ® will alsoaffect performance.THE RODLOK ® IS NOT DESIGNED TO BE USED AS APERSONNEL SAFETY DEVICE.Option -H47 provides the Rodlok ® pre-assembled to thegripper. The port of the Rodlok device will be in position 5.Option -H47 may be purchased with the -Z1 (corrosionresistant) option and -V1 (fluid compatibility) option.
