Targeted surveys have been undertaken only at selected sites identified in the earlierassessment 11 (NBES 2011).All threatened plant species known from the Natural Values Atlas and the EPBC ActProtected Matters <strong>Report</strong> are considered in the light of habitat suitability (NBES 2011).The fauna assessment was informed by the identification of habitat of significant faunaspecies known from the area, based on the interpretation of database records forthreatened fauna. Headlight surveys for fauna were undertaken on four nights andtracks and other signs that indicated fauna presence (e.g. scats and footprints) wereopportunistically noted.
