1.4 Delimitation <strong>of</strong> the ProblemThis study will consider electricians as Registered <strong>Electrical</strong> Workers (REW) under theElectricity (Registration) Regulation (Chapter 406, 1990) in either one <strong>of</strong> the followingcategories.• Grade A – electrical work on low voltage fixed electrical installation <strong>of</strong> maximumdem<strong>and</strong> not exceeding 400A, single or three phase.• Grade B – electrical work on low voltage fixed electrical installation <strong>of</strong>maximum dem<strong>and</strong> not exceeding 2500A, single or three phase.• Grade C – electrical work on low voltage fixed electrical installation <strong>of</strong> anycapacity.• Grade H – electrical work on high voltage fixed electrical installation.• Grade R – electrical work on neon sign installation, air conditioning, orgenerating facility.Similarly, study samples will only be drawn from the potential pool <strong>of</strong> REW in powersupply companies, trade unions, contracting branch <strong>and</strong> servicing branch as discussed inChapter 3.6
