Section A) TRAINING AND ADULT EDUCATION (TAE) WSQ FRAMEWORKThe Training and <strong>Adult</strong> Education (TAE) WSQ framework comprises of the following <strong>Singapore</strong> Work<strong>for</strong>ce Skills Qualifications(WSQ) programme and qualifications which are designed to qualify WSQ <strong>Adult</strong> Educators (AE) to function as WSQ Trainers,Assessors and Curriculum Developers to function within Approved Training Organisations (ATO) to design, develop, deliver andassess competency-based WSQ courses <strong>for</strong> various industry frameworks:1. WSQ Workplace Trainer Programme (WTP) – a level 2 WSQ programme2. WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) – a level 3 WSQ qualification3. Section C) List of Recognised Non-WSQ Qualifications Eligible <strong>for</strong> Credit Exemptions against WSQ TAE QualificationsTo submit an application <strong>for</strong> credit exemption, please download and submit the “TAE WSQ Credit Exemption” application <strong>for</strong>mavailable from www.ial.edu.sg in accordance to the applicable terms and conditions <strong>for</strong> credit exemptions:1. Applicants who intend to attain the full <strong>Singapore</strong> Work<strong>for</strong>ce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) qualification or programme under theTraining and <strong>Adult</strong> Education (TAE) Framework may apply <strong>for</strong> modular credit exemptions against comparable unit/s makingup their previously attained non-WSQ qualifications.2. For the results of the exempted modules to take effect, it is compulsory <strong>for</strong> the applicant to pursue the attainment of the fullWSQ qualification by successfully completing the remaining unit/s through a WSQ Approved Training Organisation (ATO)providing TAE WSQ courses.3. Candidates who successfully attain the remaining unit/s (above their exempted unit/s) will subsequently be issued with the fullWSQ qualification through the respective ATO.4. Section D) RECOGNITION OF PREVIOUS VERSION OF ACTA:Table D1 lists the modules offered previously by the Competency Modules (CM) series of ACTA (referred to as CM1 to CM4) and thecorresponding units of the current Competency Units (CU) series which have subsequently replaced them (referred to as CU1 to CU6).Partial Completion of CM series of ACTA: Individuals who have attained Statement of Attainment/s (SOAs) <strong>for</strong> only some of the previouslyoffered CM series need not complete the corresponding current ACTA Competency Unit/s.
