Andy Warholdidn’t just paint soup cansYou bet, Andy Warhol is known for his iconic, pop culture art.“Marilyns,” <strong>and</strong> always the Campbell’s soup stuff. But he alsocreated tons of pieces that never saw their 15 minutes. Now,lovers of art <strong>and</strong> the offbeat in the Inl<strong>and</strong> Empire will have thechance to view some of Warhol’s photos – that’s right, photos.More than 150 original Polaroid photographs <strong>and</strong> gelatin silverprints by Warhol have been transferred to the permanentcollection of <strong>CSUSB</strong>’s Robert V. Fullerton Art Museum. The AndyWarhol Photographic Legacy Program donated more than28,500 photographs, valued in excess of $28 million, to morethan 180 college <strong>and</strong> university museums across the nation. InCalifornia, only 16 institutions were selected.
