A good chapter in lifeThe Alumni Association’s EOP (Educational Opportunity Program) Chapter sponsored a holidaygathering in December for students enrolled in the EOP Foster Youth Program. Chapter memberspresented students with gifts, including <strong>CSUSB</strong> sweatshirts <strong>and</strong> Starbucks gift cards, as well asschool <strong>and</strong> other supplies. A WorldWar II veteran, John retired from the U.S.Air Force after 25 years of active duty. Sharp, M.B.A.2003, received an honorarydoctorate of humaneletters at <strong>CSUSB</strong>’sJune commencementceremonies. Larry is thepresident <strong>and</strong> CEO of ArrowheadCredit Unionin San Bernardino. Along-time supporterof university programs<strong>and</strong> facilities, he currentlyserves on the President’s Advancement Council, theLeonard Transportation Center Advisory Board, <strong>and</strong> theDean’s Advisory Board for the College of Business <strong>and</strong> PublicAdministration. Larry has led Arrowhead Credit Union for25 years. In that time, ACU’s membership has increased sixfold, <strong>and</strong> assets have grown to more than $1 billion. ▲Kevin Grisham, B.A. criminaljustice 1997, was selectedby the National CollegiateConference Association toserve as director generalfor the first National ModelUnited Nations conferenceto be held internationally.He will direct the overallconference, which willbe in Xi’an, China in November.Kevin was directorgeneral for the 2006 National MUN New York Conference<strong>and</strong>, as a student, twice served as head delegate for <strong>CSUSB</strong>’saward-winning MUN team.
