The THERMOTRONIC luxuryautomatic climate control system allows the driver, frontpassenger and rear passengers each to set the temperatureusing their own controls. Additional air outletsin the B-pillars and a booster blower beneath the centreconsole ensure the ideal temperature in the rear. What’smore, the automatic mode can now be adapted to meetindividual needs at the push of a button. There are threeclimate styles to select from: DIFFUSE, MEDIUM orFOCUS.THERMATIC (standard). The THERMATIC automaticclimate control system can control the temperature andventilation for the driver and front passenger automatically.A solar sensor on the windscreen can record theintensity and direction of the sun’s rays, for example.Further standard features include air recirculation,a cooled glove compartment and a combination filterwhich filters out particulate matter. There are twoadditional air outlets for the rear compartment on therear end of the centre console.Rear climate control (included with THERMOTRONICautomatic climate control system). The optionalTHERMOTRONIC automatic climate control systemincludes controls for the passengers in the rear seats:the airflow speed, airflow direction and temperaturecan be easily controlled at the push of a button, thusenhancing climate comfort for the rear occupants.THERMATIC operates on the basis of sensor information including data forinterior and exterior temperature as well as air humidityThe desired temperature and airflow can be set precisely using the separatecontrols in the rear
