Campbellhad 179 career assists entering this year, and currently has 42 this season, giving him 221 on hiscareer. Campbell needs just two more to c<strong>at</strong>ch Rick Coleman, who is currently sixth all-time in<strong>UB</strong> history with 223 career assists. Ryan Peterson, a former teamm<strong>at</strong>e of Campbell’s, is next onthe list with 278 career assists.BROWN NAMED ALL-TOURNAMENT<strong>UB</strong>-CANISIUS MAKEUP DATE SET FOR FEB. 6<strong>Buffalo</strong> and Canisius will makeup their snowed out game from earlier this year on February 6,<strong>at</strong> 7 pm <strong>at</strong> the Canisius College Koessler Center. The game was scheduled for Monday, November20 <strong>at</strong> Canisius, but was cancelled due to the bad we<strong>at</strong>her and massive amounts of snow th<strong>at</strong> hit the<strong>Buffalo</strong> area th<strong>at</strong> day, almost leaving the Bulls stuck <strong>at</strong> the pregame meal.BULLS COURT REPORTJunior Rob Brown was named to the USF Shootout All-Tournament team afterleading the Bulls to a win over Alcorn St<strong>at</strong>e in the consul<strong>at</strong>ion game. Brown had18 points, eight rebounds and a career-high five assists in the win over the Braveswhile playing on a bad ankle he twisted in the first round m<strong>at</strong>chup with EasternIllinois. Brown also had 13 points and five rebounds in the Bulls’ loss to thePanthers. He hit 8-of-16 (.500) shots from the field and 15-of-22 (.682) from theline in the two games.ALSTON PROVIDES SOLID MINUTES OFF THE BENCHSenior O’Tes Alston has been providing solid minutes off the bench for the Bulls l<strong>at</strong>ely. Overthe last three games he has played (Alston missed the Jan. 3 game against Akron with a sprainedankle), Alston has averaged 5.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while playing in 15.7 minutesper game. He had four points and four rebounds in just eight minutes of work in the win overAlcorn St<strong>at</strong>e and recorded career-highs with eight points and eight rebounds against Eastern Illinois.In the overtime loss <strong>at</strong> Marshall, he pulled down a team-high seven rebounds. For the season,Alston is averaging 3.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game and is playing in 13.8 minutes per game.MR. ROBINSON’S NEIGHBORHOOD<strong>UB</strong> junior Jason Robinson has been impressive in his first season <strong>at</strong> <strong>UB</strong>. He hasscored in double figures in eight of the ten games this year and his hit 20 or morepoints three times, including 21 against 15th-ranked North Carolina.Robinson is averaging 15.1 points per game on the season, second best on theteam, and leads the team in rebounding with 6.1 per game. He is hitting 45.6%(57-125) from the field and 43.1% (28-of-65) from three-point range. Robinsonaverages 2.80 three-pointers per game, which ties him for first in the MAC withteamm<strong>at</strong>e Damien Foster. He is also sixth in the MAC in three-point percentage(.431) and 11th in field goal percentage (.456).The Bulls Court Report TV show will fe<strong>at</strong>ure discussions with <strong>UB</strong> men’s head basketballcoach Reggie Witherspoon and <strong>UB</strong> women’s head coach Cheryl Dozier and will air weeklythroughout the season on Adelphia HTTV. Both of those games will beshown on ESPN Plus and Empire Sports Network. The Feb. 12 home game with Eastern Michiganwill be shown on Fox Sports Regional and Empire as part of the MAC package as well. TheFebruary 24 game against Miami will be shown locally on Adelphia HTTV. <strong>UB</strong>’s opener againstNiagara was also shown on Adelphia HTTV and the November 30 game against Canisius wasshown by Empire Sports Network.
