Mrs. Langdon was born in Four Oaks and was the only daughterand middle child of James and Kathy Barbour Lassiter. She was preceded in death by herparents and her brothers, Bert, Blake, Jesse and Russell.Mrs. Langdon was a dedicated member of Pisgah Baptist Church and an active member of theJoy Club prior to her moving to Arizona to be with her son, Hurley and his wife, Pat(deceased), and their family following the death of her husband of 57 years. She loved flowersand gardening, quilting, watching "Carolina" compete in sports, church and her family.She is survived by her son, Hurley Langdon, and three granddaughters, Pam (Langdon) Kozel,Jennifer Langdon and Kelly Langdon. She also had nine great-grandchildren, James, Terrenceand Narissa Kozel, Sterling Dillow (deceased) and Nichole, John, Katy, Holly and Max Wilt.She is also lovingly remembered by her grandson-in-law, Kevin Kozel; great-granddaughter-inlaw,Vanna Kozel; family friend, Brian Troxel; sisters-in-law, Alma and Carrie Lassiter and286
