Danford Layton McGee Sr., 59, of 13564 Shady Oak Blvd., Garfield Heights, Ohio, diedSunday at his niece’s home in Angier. He was born Feb. 12, 1945, in Johnston County to thelate Junius and Eva McGee of Benson. He served three years in the U.S. Army. Mr. McGeewas discharged in Cleveland, Ohio, where he retired from 310 Local after 32 years of serviceas a commercial construction foreman.
