In the NewsLAUNCH OF STATE PORTAL, SSDG& E-FORMS IN UTTAR PRADESHHon’ble Chief Minister ofUttar Pradesh Sri AkhileshYadav launched the StatePortal and e-Forms on 1stAugust 2012. The StatePortal (uponline.up.nic.in) and e-Forms are developed by NIC UP StateUnit. With the launch of the e-Forms,Citizens can now avail a total of 26services of the 8 departments fromtheir nearby CSC/ Lokvani Centres.On this occasion Hon’ble ChiefMinister praised the efforts beingmade by NIC Uttar Pradesh and StateIT department.The Senior Cabinet Ministers ofGovernment of Uttar Pradesh SriAzam Khan, Sri Shivpal Singh Yadav,Sri Ambika Chowdhary, Sri AhmedHasan and Sri Abhishek Mishragraced the occasion. Various SeniorAdministrative Officers of Govt. of UPwere present during the launch. TheCommissioners and DistrictMagistrates from the state alsoinaugurated the services from CSCCentres in their respectiveCommissionary and District.Anshu Rohatgi, Uttar PradeshE-GOVERNANCE SERVICESLAUNCHED BY JAMMUMUNICIPAL CORPORATION FORTHE CITIZENS OF JAMMUPrincipal Secretary Housingand Urban DevelopmentDepartment J&K, Mr.Suresh Kumar, IASofficially dedicated the E-GovernanceServices to citizens of Jammu in a verysimple and impressive function held atDeputy Commissioner Office inJammu on 6th August 2012 inpresence of media personals andnative masses.Among those who were present inthe function were Vice Chairman,JDA Mrs. Sarita Chouhan IAS,Deputy Commissioner of Jammu; Mr.Sanjeev Verma IAS, MunicipalCommissioner of Jammu Mr. KuldeepKhajuria, Technical Director &Projector Co-coordinator Mr. Jit Raj,Officers of Municipal Corporation andprominent Citizens of Jammu. OtherNIC Officers present during theoccasion were Mr. Harbaksh Singh,Project Associate, Mr. Rakesh Jamwal,Project Associate, Mr. Sanjay Gupta,District Informatics Officer Jammu,Mr. Sanjeev Kapoor and DistrictInformatics Associate of Jammu.In a brief interaction with thecitizens, Principal Secretaryemphasized the need for such E-Governance models for the speedydelivery of services to the citizens likeBirth Certificates, BuildingPermissions, and Public Grievancesetc. Earlier, demonstration of the workflow based applications was providedto the officers of the variousdepartments and the citizens presenton the occasion and their queries werealso re-addressed. Principal Secretaryenjoined upon all the departments toadopt the system for easing themovement of citizens.Principal Secretary finallyacknowledged the hard work of theentire NIC team at Jammu & Kashmirand Pune for their un-tiring efforts inbringing up such a transparent systemPrincipal Secretary, H&UDD, J&K, Officersof NIC and other Departments during theLaunch Ceremonyfor the benefit of common masses.With initiation of such a model,citizens can now get access to theirbirth record anywhere around theglobe.
