It is capable of scrolling throughnetwork events, while acknowledging these eventsglobally. In addition the RND-2 can perform globalalarm silence and reset functions. The RND-2 canlog on to any panel on the network. At that point,access to user and maintenance levels for that panelare available at the RND-2.The 80-character display is used to display eventdata, includingalarms and troubles,identification of zoneor device, and presentationof history.The display is controlledby a set offour push buttonswitches commandingthe controlprocessor. A backlight is included inthe display to assurevisibility in low light,but to conservepower, it is only activated during a reported eventor on operation of a display control switch.Individual LEDs on the panel are provided toindicate System Alarm, Pre-Alarm, Supervisory,Alarm Silenced, System Trouble and AC Power ON.Direct push-button controls are provided for AlarmSilence, Trouble Silence/Acknowledge, Menu andSystem Reset.Up to 16 RDC-2 remote annunciators can be slavedoff one RND-2.
