This method allows upto 40 wireless beltpacks (dependingon environment) to communicate on awireless system.FreeSpeak cellular auto-roamingtechnology enables beltpacks tocontinuously detect and automaticallyselect the best connection to the matrixvia the Active Antennas. In addition,FreeSpeak provides a role-basedoperation so that any beltpack can beswitched to use the key settings saved fora particular user type or role.FreeSpeak IntegratedWireless ArchitectureFreeSpeak Integrated Wireless operatesusing a cellular network of DECT 1.8-1.9GHz Active Antennas that are locatedaround the production environment. TheActive Antennas are connected directly tothe Eclipse Matrix and provide a radio cellsupporting up to 5 full-duplex beltpackusers. An Antenna Splitter can connect to5 Active Antennas. To add users, simplyadd another Antenna, which connectsdirectly back to the matrix that maybe 3,200 ft (1,000m) away using aCAT-5 connection – no special RFcabling is required.The rear of the E-Que has 8 x RJ45connectors. The Eclipse ConfigurationSoftware (ECS) can run the E-Que intwo modes: Direct or Splitter. In directmode, all 8 RJ-45s are available for directconnection of Active Antennas. In Splittermode, two RJ45 connectors are availablefor connection to PD2203 AntennaSplitters supporting up to five ActiveAntennas. The other RJ45 connectorscannot work antennas.
