8. All the end of the year examinations shall be of 3 hour duration.9. Government Engineering colleges, Government Polytechnic Collegesand Government Technical High Schools in the state shall be thecentres for the conduct of theory examinations. There shall be onlyone examination centre for theory in each district.10. The respective College in which the Candidate is undergoing the courseshall be the centre for the conduct of practical Examinations.Assessment of StudentsThe assessment of students for each course shall be done through continuousinternal assessment and end of semester examinations. Internal assessmentshall be conducted throughout the semester.a) Award of Internal marks for theory subjectsIn respect of theory subjects, the award of internal assessment marks will be ona continuous Evaluation Method, based on tests, assignments and attendance inthe proportion of 40%for tests, 40% for assignments and 20% for attendance asshown below.
