For practical examinations, the Principal shall appoint examiners, who will set aquestion paper for conducting practical exercises. Valuation shall be donejointly by Internal Examiners & External Examiners at the time of examination.Minimum marks for passA candidate must secure a minimum of 40% (forty) marks in the endexamination, in theory and practical for a pass in each subject. There will be nominimum for pass in the internal assessment, but the total marks for the end ofyear examination and the internal assessment should not be less than 40%(forty) for a pass in each subject.Classification of successful candidatesA candidate will be declared to have passed the course only if he/she secured apass in all the theory and practical subjects, within the validity period of his/herregistration.There shall be two classifications of passed candidates:-(i)(ii)First ClassSecond classA candidate will be declared to have passed the course in First class if he/shesecures a pass in all the subjects, with an aggregate minimum of 60% (sixty) andcompleted the apprenticeship. All the other successful candidates who havesecured below 60 % & above 40 % and have completed the apprenticeship willbe declared to have passed the course in Second class.16
