Dr. Seema Puri Dr Seema Puri is Reader and Head, Department of Food and Nutrition, Institute of Home Economics, Delhi University. She holds a doctorate degree in nutrition from Delhi University and has specialized training in Social Gerontology and Global Health Concerns. She has over 25 years of teaching and research experience. Her research interests include global health, quality of life issues, gerontological research, bone health and adolescent health. She has presented papers at numerous national and international conferences on issues related to nutrition and the elderly. Publications to her credit include a jointly authored textbook on “Nutrition and Dietetics”, an edited work on “Diet and Ageing”, booklets on “Diets for the Elderly” and research articles in journals. Dr Seema Puri is an advisor to several NGOs working in the area of public health, nutrition and ageing.
