State of Haryana andothers­Civil Writ Petitions of 1980.I am directed to refer to Haryana Government letter No. 34/146/80-5GS-I, dated the 4thDecember, 1980, on the subject noted above and to say that, “Stay” against the termination of servicesof the petitioners (ad-hoc clerks) ordered by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India was communicated toall the respective offices and you were informed for ensuring the compliance of the orders.2. The special Leave Petitions filed by the petitioners in Civil Writ Petition cited as subjectshave since been dismissed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India on the 17th September, 1981.3. The entire matter regarding termination of the service of the ad-hoc clerks, presently workingin the various departments has been carefully considered. It has been decided by the State Governmentthat the services of these ad-hoc clerks may be terminated forthwith in term of their appointment. As aninterim measure, Government have decided that such ad-hoc clerks as had completed a minimum of twoyear service on the 30th September, 1981 may for the time being be allowed to continue on an ad-hocbasis against the vacancies held by them at present. However, their services may be terminated whenthe candidates (clerks) recommended by the Subordinate Services Selection Board, report to you forjoining against the vacancies in your Department including the posts to be vacated by these ad-hocclerks.A copy each is forwarded to :—1.
