About <strong>the</strong> authorZoltan Matrahazi is a Hungarian-Australiannational who lived in <strong>the</strong> Jabaleya Bedouincommunity on an ongoing basis between2005 <strong>and</strong> 2011. Although now he spendsmore time away, he still stays with hisfriends in <strong>the</strong> <strong>Sinai</strong> for several months everyyear <strong>and</strong> is connected to <strong>the</strong> community inmany ways.
