one hour prior to the start <strong>of</strong> each practice for taping and pre-practice set-up. Each sport requires the following itemsfor practice set-up:♦ 1 water cooler & cups♦ 1 ice chest with sufficient ice ♦ individual player squirt bottles♦ towels♦ 1 stocked supply kitfilled with water (if used)For home game set-up, each dugout will be provided with:♦ 100 cups/game♦ 1 ice chest with ice (visiting team’s will have♦ Biohazard Containerbags & elastic wraps)♦ 1 water coolerThe following items will be on site at all times:♦ 1 pair <strong>of</strong> crutches ♦ 1 spine board ♦ 1 package <strong>of</strong> splintsFor away games the following should be taken with you♦ 1 kit♦ insurance information♦ emergency information ♦ 1 pair <strong>of</strong> crutchesAll Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Graduate Assistant Coaches will be required to annually meet withtheir athletic trainer on their field, court, or facility to discuss the Emergency Action Plan associated with theirprogram.All Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Graduate Assistant Coaches will be required to biannually attend a“CPR and AED for Adult” and “First Aid” review course hosted at the university.Cross-CountryThis sport will have only one athletic training student assigned principle provision <strong>of</strong> athletic training services.They will be responsible for entering all insurance and emergency information for each <strong>of</strong> their athletes in thecomputer and keep a copy in their kit at all times. The athletic training student will attend all practices and eventswith the team. The athletic training student will also work with football during times when cross-country is notpracticing or competing.At practices and home events the student will provide♦ 1 ice chest with ice♦ individual squirt bottles♦ supply kit with emergency♦ 1 water cooler♦ cups& insurance informationBe prepared to assist with visiting athletes (they probably will not have an athletic trainer on site).At away events (it is the coach’s discretion as to whether you will travel) you will take:♦ individual squirt bottles ♦ 1 water cooler ♦ supply kit.At home events, other athletic training students will be assigned to set up first aid stations throughout the course.All Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Graduate Assistant Coaches will be required to annually meet withtheir athletic trainer on their field, court, or facility to discuss the Emergency Action Plan associated with theirprogram.All Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Graduate Assistant Coaches will be required to biannually attend a“CPR and AED for Adult” and “First Aid” review course hosted at the university.TennisThis sport will have one to two athletic training students assigned principle provision <strong>of</strong> athletic trainingservices.
