SLNoISG BANGALOREClause8.0 Contractcompletionperiod<strong>PROJECT</strong>:2 x <strong>660MW</strong> <strong>Coal</strong> <strong>Handling</strong> <strong>Plant</strong> <strong>Package</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Meja</strong>Thermal Power Project, <strong>Meja</strong>, Dist: Allahabad, UP.BHEL Requirement4) Securities available from Post Offices such as NationalSavings Certificates, Kisan Vikas Patras etc. (Certificatesshould be held in the name of Contractor furnishing thesecurity and duly pledged in favour of BHEL and dischargedon the back).5) Bank Guarantee from Scheduled Banks / Public FinancialInstitutions as defined in the Companies Act. The BankGuarantee <strong>for</strong>mat should have the approval of BHEL. ThisBG shall be strictly as per the prescribed <strong>for</strong>mat of BHELBGs of PSU Banks in addition to consortium banks are onlyacceptable. In case of BGs issued by non consortium PSUbanks, the same are to be en<strong>for</strong>ceable in Bangalore.6) Fixed Deposit Receipt issued by schedule banks / PublicFinance Institutions as defined in the companies Act. TheFDA should be in the name of the contractor, A/c BHEL,duly discharged on the back.7) EMD of successful bidder shall be converted and adjustedagainst the security deposit.8) The security deposit shall not carry any interest.NOTE : Acceptance of security deposit against Sl No. 4 & 6,above will be subject to hypothecation or endorsement onthe documents in favour of BHEL. However, BHEL will notbe liable or responsible in any manner <strong>for</strong> the collection ofinterest or renewal of the documents or in any other matterconnected therewith.Security Deposit shall be refunded / Bank Guarantee(s)released to the Contractor along with the ‘Final Bill’ afterdeducting all expenses / other amounts due to BHEL underthe contract / other contracts entered into with them byBHEL.RATE OF SECURITY DEPOSIT :Upto Rs 10.00 lakhs - 10%Above Rs 10.00 lakhs upto Rs 50.00 lakhs – Rs 1.00 lakh+ 7.5% the amount exceeding Rs 10.00 lakhs.Above Rs 50.00 lakhs – Rs 4.00 lakhs + 5% of the amountexceeding Rs 50.00 lakhs.Completion of Civil & Structural Works - within 20 monthsfrom the date of LOA.CommercialTerms &ConditionsBidder’sAcceptance /RemarksEnquiry No: REV.
