Indicators for air and noisepollution have already been developed, and €100million is being invested in sports, leisure, culturaland educational facilities. The development hasbeen desig<strong>ne</strong>d so that everyo<strong>ne</strong> has easy accessto large areas of green spaces and communityfacilities. An on-site team will encourage participationin community-building activities and monitor people’ssense of ‘place’.ProblemThe hustle and bustle of modern life has mademany people richer.
