IMPLEMENTATIONThe implementation of this MasterPlan will be undertaken in logicalstages to meet aviation, passengerand workforce demands.Refer to Chapter 10 of theMaster Plan.Short-term Development(2014-2019)Developments required to facilitateshort-term forecast growth of trafficdemand, and business and industryattraction, are expected to include butnot be limited to:» Progress on the NPR construction» Construction of a new fire station atAirport North» Additional rapid exit taxiway with theexisting main runway» Upgrades and new terminal facilities» Airside bussing facilities» Staged relocation of staff parkingfacilities to the Central Parking Area» The construction of a hotel andbusiness centre in Airport Central –Domestic» Administration buildings at AirportCentral – International» Aviation facilities and aviationsupport facilities» Additional and upgraded car parking» Improvements to surrounding roads,new active transport and publictransport facilities» Business, industry and commercialdevelopments» Additional aircraft maintenance,office facilities and expanded taxiwaysystems in Airport East» Construction of additional freighthandling capacity» Utility upgrades.24Brisbane Airport Corporation
