Economic Infrastructure and Tourism●●●●●●Cross Boundary Transport Hub for the HZMB at the westernend of the Siu Ho Wan MTR depot site which would include apublic transport interchange, park-and-ride facilities and a MTRstationLantau Logistics Park at Siu Ho Wan to enhance Hong Kong'scapability to provide 'one-stop' integrated logistics services, takingadvantage of easy access to the airport, container port at KwaiChung and HZMBLeisure and Entertainment Node at Sunny Bay to complementthe tourism uses in its vicinity. It may include entertainment,dining, fashionable stores, performance venues and indoor leisureand sports facilitiesPossible Theme Park or Major Recreational Uses at TungChung East to achieve synergy with other tourism developmentsin LantauGolf Course cum Resort at Tsing Chau Tsai East to meet thestrong demand for golf sports from business visitorsResort Facilities at South Lantau to take advantage of its naturalbeaches, tranquil rural setting and different recreational amenities
The development of future transport infrastructure for Lantau would takeinto account the HZMB and other major projects. The traffic impact ofthe new initiatives for tourism, logistics and other developments inLantau would be assessed in the course of the feasibility studies.
