<strong>Name</strong> <strong>of</strong> Work- MO EI <strong>and</strong> <strong>Fans</strong> <strong>at</strong> <strong>ISBT</strong>,Sarai Kale KhanSH- Annual Oper<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>and</strong> Maintenance Contract <strong>of</strong> Fire Fighting System.TERMS & CONDITIONS:-1. The contractors must get acquainted with the site <strong>and</strong> install<strong>at</strong>ions to be oper<strong>at</strong>ed <strong>and</strong> maintained <strong>and</strong> study thespecific<strong>at</strong>ions <strong>and</strong> conditions carefully before tendering. The install<strong>at</strong>ions shall be h<strong>and</strong>ed over to department ingood <strong>work</strong>ing conditions after completion <strong>of</strong> <strong>work</strong>.2. The system shall be maintained round the clock by deputing skilled persons <strong>at</strong> site.3. Any fault occurred in the system shall have to be brought to the notice <strong>of</strong> the department immedi<strong>at</strong>ely <strong>and</strong> thefault has to be repaired within 24 hours.4. The oper<strong>at</strong>or deputed on duty shall have to <strong>work</strong> as per instructions <strong>of</strong> Engineer-in-charge or hisauthorized represent<strong>at</strong>ives.5. Any damage to the building or any part <strong>of</strong> the control panels which might result defective during the oper<strong>at</strong>ionshall be repaired by the contractor <strong>and</strong> nothing shall be paid extra on this account.6. All the staff engaged for <strong>work</strong> <strong>of</strong> oper<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>and</strong> maintenance should have full knowledge <strong>of</strong> the system installed inthe building. Any consequences arising on this account or default <strong>of</strong> contractor not complying with this conditionshall be the responsibility <strong>of</strong> the contractor.7. Incase <strong>of</strong> any accident during maintenance <strong>work</strong>/oper<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>of</strong> equipments leading to injuries/damage tohuman/being/ equipments, loss <strong>of</strong> life the contractor shall be fully responsible for settling all claims <strong>and</strong> indemnifythe department against any claim arising out <strong>of</strong> such accidents.8. The contract can be termin<strong>at</strong>ed by Engineer-in-charge without assigning any reason by issue <strong>of</strong> the notice period<strong>of</strong> 30 days <strong>at</strong> any time during the contract. No claim or any compens<strong>at</strong>ion will be entertained during suchtermin<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>of</strong> period prior to expiry <strong>of</strong> stipul<strong>at</strong>ed period <strong>of</strong> contract.9. Preventive maintenance <strong>of</strong> all the items as mentioned in the schedule <strong>of</strong> <strong>work</strong>,shall be done as per CPWDspecific<strong>at</strong>ions.10. Contractor shall responsible for general daily cleaning <strong>of</strong> control panel <strong>and</strong> other equipments installed in thebuilding. The required m<strong>at</strong>erials for daily cleaning such as broom,cotton waste, dhoti etc. shall be arranged (free<strong>of</strong> cost) by the contractor.11. Number <strong>of</strong> persons to be engaged by the contractor are as under.i) Oper<strong>at</strong>or- 3 Nos.( 1 No. in each shift ).12. Suitable pro-r<strong>at</strong>a basis reduction shall be made from the bill <strong>of</strong> the firm, if the oper<strong>at</strong>ional staff is not available forany period, Decision <strong>of</strong> the Engineer-in-charge shall be final & binding on the contractor.13. The persons engaged shall not be less than 18 years <strong>of</strong> age.14. No T&P shall be issued by the department.15. The <strong>work</strong> shall be completed within 12 months.
